Harley rolls out red carpet for women riders

It won't be just the birds heading north when the weather warms this year as bikers of the fairer sex from all over the world set their sights on Milwuakee for Harley-Davidson's celebration of International Women Riders Month.

And for some, the event has already started with online registration for the motorcycle event officially open at Harley-Davidson's website dedicated to women riders.

Taking place May 22-23, women riders from all over the world will gather for the weekend, which features demo rides and other activities at the H-D Museum. The Milwaukee event is also highlighted by a group ride on Saturday that ends at a Downtown Street Party featuring live music, great food, a beer garden, and more. The event will also feature a Chapter Challenge, with awards for the club with the most women registered for the event, and also for most members registered overall.

The $35 registration fee includes:

  • Exclusive Commemorative Charm for the Event
  • Free Admission to the H-D Museum
  • Participation in the Milwaukee Group Ride
  • Participation in the Wisconsin Products Passport Ride
  • Local Merchant Discounts

And women don't necessarily need a motorcycle or license to attend. One of the scheduled activities includes a Harley-Davidson Experience motorcycle simulator, open to riders and non-riders alike.
