Accident or incident, Brad's motorcycle mishap makes headlines
The different versions occupying the scandal sheets of a famous star and his motorcycle mishap should fall into the category of 'it could happen to any rider'.
In the the normal world, clipping a car or nudging the sidewalk would leave a biker open to ribbing and scorn from his fellow riders. But when you're Brad Pitt, various versions of the story along with a unique conspiracy theory makes headline news with the accompanying pictures.
And so it was with a minor motorcycle incident being billed as a motorcycle accident when Brad Pitt took one of his regular rides through the streets of Los Angeles on Saturday.
The common and most likely version has Brad Pitt dropping his motorcycle while riding through tinsel town's busy streets after clipping a parked car.
Reportedly, the whole incident came about from the close call of catching a parked car's mirror as he was attempting to pass between it and a car stopped at a red light.
Unable to restart the fallen motorcycle, Pitt ran into an apartment building to get away from photographers. A gentleman identifying himself as the manager of the apartment complex stopped the paparazzi from following while Pitt call his 'security team' to come pick the stranded superstar biker and his ride up.
Whether from the excited and surprised residents who live in the apartment complex, or a photographer who slipped in past the apartment manager, pictures of the bearded Pitt have emerged on the internet as rider and motorcycle waited to be picked up.
The more sensationalistic stories have Brad Pitt brought to the ground after being bumped from behind by a tailgating photographer, who Pitt confronted after the incident. Another wrinkle of the paparazzi version has the photographer cutting off the motorcycle riding movie star which also ended in a confrontation, although this one was slightly more civil.
Finally, coming from an 'eyewitness account' Radar Online claimed their reporter witnessed the minor mash-up, stating that a paparazzo bumped Pitt's bike from behind, forcing his motorcycle into the rear of the car ahead. Pitt reportedly kept his cool in the aftermath, even interacting with onlookers.
The weekend incident wrapped a week of motorcycle gossip for the world's sexiest biker as news outlets reported Pitt taking delivery of another ride. A silver and gold metal motorcycle was delivered to the actors house in the bed of a white pick-up truck on Wednesday.
Similar stories have been reported in the past, later corrected when sources such as the custom motorcycle's builder pointing out the 'new bike' was one already owned by Pitt and being returned after routine maintenance.
